Lobo (Comets Baile del Loboito de Towih, LCM 6), born May 16, 2002, is a red brindle
whippet. He's been with Ruthanna and Todd since he was 7 months old. Lobo won the Robert Nix trophy for Best in
Event at ACC in January, 2005.
Lobo always ran with heart. He might not have been the most agile or
the flashiest whippet on the field, but he could win by sheer
determination and the belief that if he followed and kept following, he
could catch that darn bunny. Ruthanna and Todd always had a bit of fun
competition at field trials, with Ruthanna slipping Lobo and Todd
slipping Everett.
Lobo was diagnosed with Lymphangiectasia in November of 2009. With a
modification of his diet and medication, he recovered and thrived until
he relapsed in late October, 2010. We lost Lobo on November 10, 2010.
